Carter Admissions provides high school students with highly qualified tutors to assist them in working through the college application process, and in particular editing their college essays to improve grammar, structure, and content. While the site will focus on college essay editing and admissions help, we expect that satisfied customers will request a fuller range of essay editing, including preparing for the new essay portion of the SAT.

College Essay Editing: $40-300/hour

1.) The student and/or parent reviews an online list of tutors and selects a tutor.

2,) The student and/or parent has the option of calling a consultant for more information and help in selecting a tutor. (5-15 minute call free of cost).

3.) The student schedules an introductory phone session to introduce himself to the tutor, share his or her goals, and set up initial personal profile page.

4.) Once the student selects the tutor, they edit the essay together in a style that best suits them (they can meet on the phone, they can work online using Carter Admission’s tools).

5.) Once service begins, the student will have access to his or her own personal page on the Carter Admissions site where he/she will upload essays for review, schedule meetings, make payments, and have access to an array of news feeds and web content tailored to his or her target schools.
